Cannot morph face/make facial expression with all models

Hi, so I was wondering what I did wrong as I cannot select the face of any models. Even under the 'Parameters' tab for the head, at most, I can select the eyes and the tongue. I cannot change the facial expressions nor can I select anything on the face.
I should point out that there is no 'Pose Control' tab under the V6 for me.

Do you have shaping morphs on the figure node ("Genesis 2 Female")? If not it may be an installation issue - you certainly should have expression morphs at least, even with only the base G2F.
It sounds like your content may not be installed correctly. Do you have Genesis 2 Starter Essentials installed from your Product Library?
V6 is a morph of G2Female, and should be able to use any morphs for G2F. I have a lot of expressions listed for V6 when loaded. Did you buy any morph packages for G2F, or are you just using the default ones that come with G2F?
Also, V6 and any other genesis models, need to be installed into the same library folder as Genesis 2 Female.
Did you install your content using DIM (DAZ Install Manager)? If so, then you should go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager and make sure that the correct paths to your content are listed there under BOT DAZ Studio and Poser Formats.
Could you explain it in simpler terms please? Sorry, I'm new to DAZ and just learning.
In regards to incorrect installation, I've already tried reinstalling and it doesn't work. I've also noticed that on the barefoot dancer which is ready to render, the model has a facial expression of which I can manipulate slightly.
The 'expression' tab is not available for me.
I am considering doing a manual installation to see if it might work. Is there any way I can do this?
So, when you select V6 and than click on Parameters tab, you dont have pose control menu like in the picture?
Yeps. Both the morph and pose control are not there
How did you install your content, and was it with DIM?
If so, then re-installing manually runs the risk of messing up the install.
From my post above
Pleas follow the above, and check to see that the correct paths are listed.
DIM by default installs to C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library so, if that path is not listed correctly, you wont see your content.
All done via the installer. I honestly think that doing it manually can't make it worse
Did you check what I asked you, the paths in the Content Directory Manager?
Did you check in DIM if the items you are looking for installed correctly?
I'm assuming it's the same spot where everyone is downloaded and installed? Ie the My Library Daz or something like that in Documents?
The older library name for DAZ Studio was 'My Library', it is now 'My DAZ 3D Library'.
The point is, that DIM installs to a particular location, which I already listed for you, and if you don't tell DAZ Studio what that path is, it wont find your content.
Ah, I see what you mean now.
But yes, it's at the correct location, and I've tried reinstalling again, with no success. Any suggestions? Is it actually possible to do a manual instal?
Re-installing is not going to help, nor is a manual install. All of the files that DAZ Studio uses can be found in your Product Library, and there are links to the ZIP files which you can download manually DIM always installs everything to the right place, or we would all be struggling to find content. I have never known it to fail.
There is definitely something wrong with your install. If you installed using DIM, the go to the Installed tab in DIM, find the item, V6 in your case, right click, and select 'Show Installed Files', this will show you the name of the library it was installed to, and a list of all of the files installed.
You should do the same with the Genesis 2 Female package to make sure that it is installed where you think it is.
Could you also please post a screenshot of your Content Directory Manager with the Poser Formats and DAZ Studio Formats expanded?
Is this correct?
The second path under Poser Formats should also be under DAZ Studio Formats - highlight DAZ Studio Formats, click the Add button, and select the My DAZ 3D Library folder.
It seems to have fixed my Genesis 2 models, allowing me to use pose control, but V6 is still not working. Could you explain why it worked please? Perhaps it might help me fix the V6
The path : C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library must be listed under both DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats so that DAZ Studio knows where your content is installed to. DIM does not communicate with DAZ Studio, so you need to make sure that the path to where your content is stored is listed in the Content Directory Manager.
If you installed V6 using DIM, then go to the Installed tab in DIM, find V6, right click on it, and select 'Show Installed Files' That will tell you the name of the folder (library) that it was installed to, and what was installed.
Since V6 is a morph of Genesis 2 Female, it needs to be installed into the same library folder (My DAZ 3D Library), if it is not in there, it wont work properly.
Copying and pasting it seems to have worked flawlessly. Thanks a bunch
