Can't find items I've installed

I'm a fairly new user to DAZ3. I've purchased several items from the DAZ store and for the most part, everything works just fine. However, there are some items that I just can't find in the interface.

Just last night I purchased XTech Dreadlock Ponytail for Genesis 2 Female(s). A week ago, I purchased the actual outfit for XTech. this installed perfectly and I'm already using it in my art. However, the XTech Dreadlock item is nowhere to be found.

Same thing with the Wondrous Creatures Genesis 2 female pack. I'm just not sure where to look for it. It's installed and I was told I have to have Creature Creator for Genesis to make the Wondrous Creature pack work, and I do but i'm just unable to find it.

Any help would be appreciated!

    As for the Creature Creator, are you sure you have the right one? For G2F, you'd need

    Thanks for the quick help.. I don't know if I'm just mental or what but I still can\t seem to get the XTech dreadlock hair going. I can find everything else for Xtech accept for the hair. So frustrating! Any additional ideas and help are super welcome.

    The hair prop is in the Poser part of the content listing. Have you checked there? In the DAZ part, it's only shader.
    Perhaps, it would be best if you post a screenshot of what you are looking at when you can't fint the dreadlocks, so it's easier to point out.

    I'm having a similar problem. A lot of older items are listed but with an exclamation point. I've tried to re-import metadata. I notice in this dialogue box that only Daz 3d items are listed. Perhaps the older items are Poser items? Would that make a different in trying to reconnect to them?

    Be sure you have your content directory mapped under both DAZ Studio formats and Poser formats in the Content Directory Manager.
