Need some tutorial help

Hello. I've been in this for a while now and I think I need to introduce myself a bit. I'm 30 years of age and I was born deaf. I have hearing aids, so I can hear but I can't understand words. I realize for tutorial youtube stuff, they have captions, but my main issue is that I don't pay attention. I try to, but I don't stay focused on what they are saying on the tutorials. I just need some specific help on certain stuff. I look at Youtube for Daz Studios stuff, but those are usually confusing for me. Especially since they are older. Like 4.5 or something. Maybe you can direct me to a more current or a tutorial that's easier to understand?

I just need some basic help on how to load my renders. What are my "Unassigned" scenes? I made several good ones, but still having trouble loading my renders, or however its called. Or done. I can listen. Honestly, I can try to understand whats being spoken, but it takes me at least several tries until I get it right.

Besides my trouble with rendering, I need some help on "shaders" or for my surface editor. Maybe write it out or give me a video that I can easily understand with good captions that will take whats being spoken word for word, like a "Information" video that's not uploaded as a youtube.

Would be great if I can get some help on that stuff please, because I'm willing to learn and use Daz Studios for creating characters for my story. I'm planning on a Graphic Novel.

Also, if you got some good tips for me to create a good Graphic Novel or lead me to a good site where I can start on one, that would be cool. I've written like two books already with seven chapters each. Just need to convert the book into a graphic novel.

Thanks

Ben

https://plasq.com/apps/comiclife/macwin/ I use this one for my tutorials. Many use it for comic and similar type books.

Don't worry about "unassigned" anythings ... that's a metadata thing for the Smart Content. Everything can be found via the Content Library. Things with properly working metadata can be found also via the Smart Content Library.

Load renders? One renders the scene to .jpg or .png for example. After saving it, one can then open it in any program that opens image files.

Via the Surface Tab one can apply images to various materials via that little square box beside the colors. One browses to the appropriate folder and selects the desired image.

Shaders: one needs to have the item selected in the scene tab plus the surfaces selected on the Surface Tab. Then double clicking on the Shaders [and wait a few seconds] should have the shader being loaded. The item will then often look terrible until it is rendered.
