What just happened to my studio when I took the update Daz studio 4.8????

There were several new updates on my install manager when I opened it this morning. I took them, and now I don't even have studio 4.7 The studio is just Gone! I cant open it by trying to open items on my desktop, and a search of my entire PC shows no studio. I'm locked out somehow, and I can't stand up! Please, please. please, someone have an easy answer!

    4.7 is gone. When you installed the update, it replaced version 4.7 with 4.8.
    Does Studio 4.8 open properly, or is it gone, too? If yes, have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling 4.8?

    I can find no file for 4.8 There is no icon on desktop, or file designated for 4.8 in PC files or downloads. 4.8 shows nowhere in Windows;c 4.8 does not show in "install uninstall" from control panel. ANY help is appreciated!

    Do I need to download 4.8 seperatly from somewhere/

    Can you see hte ready for download file in DIM? If you have 4.7 installed with DIM it will show 4.8 as an update. If you aren't seeing it try checking the box display hidden and see if it is hiding the file for some reason.

    Okay, moment of panic over. There was some type of lag between the update and the new files appearance in the install manager. Now... the fun begins. New learning curve!
