Be very careful with the .ps files too. Some products still need them to work in Daz Studio, I think there's a list around here somewhere about what's been updated with proper Studio files.

Are you installing packs with DIM or doing it manually?

Since you are using DIM, unless you have Poser selected in the 'Download Filters' option on the Ready to Download tab, you should not be getting any Poser files at all.

Check that you only have the filters set that apply to you. Prior to the Genesis character being introduced, all DAZ 3D Figures were in Poser Format, so you would not want to delete them (V4, V3, M4, M3 etc. etc.) DAZ Studio reads the Runtime folder that is in My DAZ 3D Library to load these older figures, but the Texture folder in the Runtime folder is also used for textures for more recent items as well.

The problem is that some of the content that DAZ Studio uses is in 'Poser Format' and you don't want to delete them.

There are files created only for use inside Poser called Poser Companion Files (PoserCF) and you can uninstall them if you no longer intend to use Poser.

To find them in DIM, go to the 'Installed' tab, in the search box at the top right of the interface (magnifying glass symbol) type in PoserCF (case does not matter) and that should list all of the PoserCF files that you have installed. You can then safely uninstall them using DIM.
