Hi, Just to warn you, im a total newbie to the 3d stuff and am still trying to figue out all the jargon associated with it.

I just bouht the dynamic sheets but I cant see how to get it to drape on anything. I've tried putting it on top of a G2 figure as well as a table. All I get is a giant square that stands up rigid like a wall. Can anyone offer some insight as to what I'm missing?

Thanks.

You need to use the Dynamic Clothing Control with this item. Is it this one : http://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-sheets

Go to Window > Panes (Tabs) > Dynamic Clothing Control and load it from there.

It won't be Dynamic Clothing Control if you have just the base DAZ Studio - the control plug-in is a separate purchase - but the free Dynamic Clothing plug-in included with DAZ Studio will do the job (you just won't be able to change the cloth properties to be like other fabric types)

Not entirely true...there is a set of cloth property presets available on the Optitex freebie page that do give more options with free plugin. It's just that they are not editable.

I wasn't sure if anything like that was still available, thanks.

Yep, they're still available...and I use them often. Very, very handy.
