Well, having participated in all three... I guess I am qualified to give an opinion.

The third is quite different from the first two, having a much broader focus on Daz Studio in general. The beginner part is aptly named, while I found the advanced part to be... not as advanced as I would have liked, or perhaps not the areas I would have preferred to see more focus on. For an all around, soup-to-nuts introduction to Daz Studio, you are not likely to find a better group of lessons.

The first two are specifically about lighting. The second is, obviously, more focused on lighting within Daz Studio, where the former is broader based and teaches things that can be applied anywhere and uses examples from multiple programs.

I don't regret any of the purchases. I find myself buying instruction from those vendors (Dreamlight and i13/fugazi) pretty easily, if the subject matter is right. Dreamlight brings years of real world lighting experience to the table, as well as years of videography experience. He knows his stuff. His style... can be an acquired taste. Be prepared for classroom type experiences with his instruction: theory, white boarding, practical examples. The other duo is much more hands-on, step-by-step, show me how to do it.

Dreamlight has frequent sales. Watch for them.
