What happened to regular download of purchased products?

The 'blue' option to just manually download a product normally no longer works! Whatever you do, you get re-directed to the damn DAZ installation manager (or whatever they call it).

I keep clicking on the blue "manual download" icon, but it says I have to install DIM anyway! What's happened to the plain download option? Is the company now all forcing us down the DIM route? If they are, why do they still pretend to have a simple download option?

Aaargghhh!!! I HATE being made to do things I don't want to do!

    okay, so I try to download the damn thing using DIM, but I have forgotten my password and (unlike any other website known to man) there is no password reminder/reset option!!

    What kind of a company is this! So unbelievably inept.

    I am now just trying all the password I have ever had, but none of them work! I still can't download my product!

    I'm not having that problem...

    It could be that you are trying to download the entire bundle in one shot...the only option I have for that is to use the DIM, it doesn't even show a manual option.

    But all the pieces are going through with the manual download.

    You should be able to manual download. When I go to that same screen (selecting an order and click on the "M4 Hero Pro Pack"'s blue download button, it takes me to my product library and displays the "M4 Hero Pro Pack" bundle product. Note that you cannot download it manually from here yet; ignore the "Download & Install" button of course, since that's not what you want to do. Instead, click on each of the products in the bundle in turn; for example, start by clicking on "Beck for M4". NOW you can click the blue download button for a manual download. Repeat for each item in the bundle you wish to download. I don't know of a "mass download everything in the bundle" type button, you download one product at a time.

    EDITED TO ADD: If you don't remember your DAZ account password, I'm sure you can submit a help request and they will reset it for you, although perhaps that means waiting for the end of a holiday weekend before they will see the request?
