Can't rotate view

I'm working on a mountain pass render with several horses and people, but when I added a new camera I was no longer able to rotate the view port. Any idea why?

    You cannot rotate any of the fixed views, like Front, Back, Left or Right etc.

    You should be able to rotate the Perspective View, and any other Cameras that you have created from the Create menu.

    Did you select the new camera from the Camera drop-down menu in the Viewport? Selecting it in the Scene pane wont change anything, it must be done in the Viewport settings.

    I selected a camera that I had created from the drop-down menu in the viewport.

    Did you change any of the parameters for the camera that you created?

    For example, did you select 'Point At' and have it always point at a particular spot?

    Can you post a screenshot of your viewport, showing the scene and the Camera selected? It might help to see what is going on here.
