Quick Start Tutorial Failure in DAZStudio 4.7

When I try to start the Quick Start tutorial (Barefoot Dancer) I get the message that there are files missing from the Starter essentials. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the packages cited in the error message twice, but with no success.

The package required for Barefoot Dancer is Genesis 2 Female, did you install that. There are two packages for Genesis 2, Male and Female, you should install them both, but the one that is needed is the Female one.
If you have done all of that, have you told DAZ Studio where the packages were installed to?
Go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and make sure that the path to the content folder is listed under both DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats. DIM does not communicate with DAZ Studio, you hve to make sure that DS knows where the content is located.
Uninstalling/reinstalling was probably not needed...
How did you install them?
If you used the Download and Install Manager, it is likely that both Studio and it are not on the same page as to where to install things. By default they install to two different locations. All you need to do is look in the DIM to see where it is installing to and then tell Studio to look there, too.
The gear icon in the upper corner of the DIM takes you to the settings...you'll find the install location info there.
Then in Studio, you need to get the Content Directory Manager open (several ways of doing that... Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager.
Once there, you will want to add the directories you found in the DIM settings to both the Studio and Poser formats.
