DAZ-Studio update?

At the moment, I do have Studio Pro 4.7 How can I update to 4.8?
Is there the possibility, if I have open the program, that the update will go automatically?

    4.8 is the current open beta and you will need to download it via the DIM. If you have never downloaded a beta before be aware that it is "stand alone" and will not have the same settings as your other version. Nor will it effect your current version of 4.7.

    If it's your first Public Beta on your current system you will need to reinstall plug-ins, some shaders and a few scripts that place files in the application folder. Note that some plug-ins won't work with the beta even then, but most will.
