Victoria 4, Genesis 2, Runtime Folders...Help!

Hi all
First let me introduce myself, I'm Neil and very new to Daz3D. I'm totally hooked to this program already and can't wait to explore all the possibilities it offer and realize my ideas.
But as I'm new to it all I'm trying to work out the best course of action for a model I've bought, and I'm stuck. The item in question is the ImageNation XCC-990 FEMBOT from Renderosity. I think I've found how to use it in Daz3D (creating the runtime folder etc) which I'll try as soon as I'm home, but my question is do I really need Victoria 4 to make it work, or can I use the Victoria 4 to Genesis 2 converter?
Here's the blurb from the readme:
To use the Fembot Skeleton with your DAZ Vicky 4 figure, simply load the figure, then select the Fembot Skeleton and click Edit --> Conform To and choose the Vicky 4 figure from the options list.
To assign the Fembot texture sets to your Vicky 4 figure, go to the "Poses" Category and open the folder called "IN Fembot Mat". With your Vicky figure selected, click any of the texture buttons.
And here the link to the file for further info:

Now I can buy Victoria 4 if needed, but will the conversion work just as well? Do I need Victoria 4 to make the conversion work? Or should I really have Victoria 4 anyway? (I already have 5 and 6) I don't want to buy a lot of items I don't need if I can, and I can't make an informed decision as I just don't know. If anyone has any links for a newbie that would be grand.
Many thanks in advance for your help, I've got myself confused.
Neil

Hello.
This item is a conforming figure intended to work with V4. If you want to be sure to get the same result as in the promos with no distortion then the best way is to use it on V4.
Items will always work best on the figure they were intended for.
You can autofit that item to G2F if you have V4 for G2F, but there's no guarantee the result will look good, as an automatic conversion can only do so much. There will most probably be some distortion, but I can't tell how much as I don't have that item to try.
Try the conversion and see if it's good enough for you, if not then you'll need to use V4.
You can try using it on Genesis 1 first; V4 to Genesis 1 works most of the time.
But the page says it's Poser; this means you probably have to adjust the surface setting to make it look similar to the promo pics.
Thanks guys, your help was invaluable. Much appreciated.
