How to reduce thickness of lips?

All female models have thick, plumb, "ready to be devoured lips". Is there any way to reduce the plumpness of the lips? All morphs I tried do everything imaginable to the lips but not reduce the thickness.

Genesis 2 and Victoria 4.2 basic.

Most of the base models will come with some basic morphs to adjust the geometry. However, because they are basic, they may not always have the morphs or dials that you are wanting. I forget which morph dials G2F and V4 come with as standard, but I am not altogether surprised that dials to adjust the thickness of the lips are not there. You have three choices under such circumstances:

You could purchase more advanced morph packages for the figures that did include the required morphs (the product descriptions should tell you what adjustments are possible); or

You could use the built-in tools in DAZ Studio, like the D-form tool, to manually adjust the geometry; or

You could export the model into a 3D modelling program and make the changes there, then re-import it back to DAZ Studio and save it as a custom morph.

BTW, the Genesis 2 Female Head Morphs package and the Morphs ++ package for V4 have the kind of thing you are looking for (and much, much more), if you are prepared to purchase them.

Thanks SixDs, I have both Genesis 2 Female Head Morphs package and the Morphs ++, but none of them reduce the volume of the lips. I'll try your other suggestions. Appreciate your help.

Hmmm. I don't suppose that you're not looking in the right place for the morph dials? Different dials show up depending upon the body nodes (parts) selected. For example, with morphs ++, if you select V4;s head and then look in the parameters tab under Morphs!Shapes, scroll down and you'll see dials for LipBottomThickness and another for LipTopThickness. I'm pretty sure that there are similar dials in the Genesis 2 morph package.

Failing that, there is another option that you can explore. DieTrying made a set of morphs for V4 called DieTryings-182-V4-Morphs that might do the trick. They are available for free over at ShareCG. You should get DavidGB's ExP version here:

    http://www.sharecg.com/v/72909/browse/11/Poser/DieTryings-182-Morphs-For-Victoria4-ExP-version

and Sickleyield has modified them to work with Genesis here:

    and Genesis 2 here:
