Copying only (some) maps to a figure?

I was wondering if I could only copy (some) maps to a figure without changing the materials settings. I tried to find solutions this week, but can't find it.

I won't mind buying a tool if necessary. I already have Skin Manager and Map Master Pro, but not sure if they can do this.

The reverse, applying a material preset without changing the maps, would be welcome.

The reverse can be done by holding down cms/ctrl as you double-click the preset, the way you want would, I think, have to be done by saving a new preset and selecting only the maps in the options dialogue.
