poser content in DAZ

Okay, i'm relatively new to 3d rendering. i've been working in DAZ3d for a few weeks now and a friend just gave me Poser 9. i like DAZ a lot better, but i would love to use the content that came with Poser 9 (lots of animals, figures, etc.). is there a way to migrate that content from one Runtime to the DAZ Runtime?

i'm on a Mac if that matters.

    Most of the content will work in DAZ Studio, just go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager and add the path to the folder CONTAINING the Runtime folder.

    When you say your friend gave you Poser 9, did they buy it for you, or did they give you their copy? You may need to contact Smith-Micro, as the license may not be transferable.

    thanks for the hint. i'll give that a try.

    the version of Poser that he gave me was a sealed new dvd, unregistered.
