As far as I'm aware the 30 day limit is the only condition. If you request they will credit paypal or your credit card rather than store credit.

Are you sure Time (30 Days) is the only Limit?
If that is true... why do we buy stuff?
You could buy the stuff you need for you Project... set your Scene, do your Render and then return the Stuff (within 30 Days) to get refund and get new stuff for the next Scene and so on... you never had to pay for anything.
I`m sure time is not the only Limit.

I suppose people like that would just pirate the stuff rather than going through the hassle.

I'm pretty new to Daz, even though I created an account a long time ago, but the only regret I have is that I didn't sign up to the PC+ when I bought my first batch of goods. I spent enough that the discount I would have received would have covered the cost of membership, but I wasn't aware of how frequently they have sales and I didn't want to apply, wait for it to go through and then miss out on the 50% storewide sale. I have since discovered that membership is instant, but there you have it.

I know what thats like! I had PC+ membership for 3 months before realising that it came with 2 money-off coupons every month that I failed to use. Doh! Won't make that mistake again ;) Thats why I try to keep on top of the changes to it now.

Daz, and 3D rendering in general really, has quite a steep learning curve to begin with when it comes to making purchases. I bought so many products in the early days that I later realised I didn't need or couldn't use (probably wasted over £100 - this was before I knew about the refund policy). It really pays to do your homework on everything you intend to purchase but, of course, when you're new you don't know that unless someone tells you.

Oh no LOL. That's like buying something that comes one sale the very next day, for less, which has happened far too many times in my life.

I'm an author and was hoping to use Daz to create my covers, so I spent over $200 on that first sale getting everything I thought I would need to create three different covers. One of the reasons I didn't get the PC+ at the time was because I thought I wouldn't need to buy anything else, but I've since discovered that this place is a black hole that sucks you in and never lets go. As you say you also don't really know everything you'll need- like a good skin texture for example, and some of the ideas that looked cool in my head didn't translate that well into 3d, which meant I had to buy a few different things before I found one that "worked." Not only that, but some of the stuff I bought has since come on sale again for more than 50% off, which kinda sucks, but at least I haven't had to wait around to start creating.

I've also bought a LOT of stuff just because the models were so inspiring, I just had to have them, even if I didn't exactly know how I was going to use them lol.

I'm exactly the same. I can't helping buying stuff when I see its on sale, even if I have no idea if I'll ever get around to using it. Daz, and 3D rendering in general, is very addictive. I keep seeing products and getting inspired and thinking of a scene I could do with them, then I buy it, and then I realise that the chances of me getting around to actually doing that scene any time this year are remote.

Richard or chohole might correct me on this, but if the purchases you made that later went on sale were less than 30 days ago you might be able to ask for a partial refund based on the new sale price... I think I read that somewhere. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please :)

If the items were purchased less than 30 days ago and are now on sale at a cheaper price you can indeed contact CS through the zendesk system and ask for a refund of the difference in price.

You will need the details of the original order

That is astronomically cool. There aren't too many sites that would be willing to do this.

Sorry, when you say contact CS through the zendesk system, what is that exaclty-can you do that through the normal submit a ticket help desk?

Zendesk is the name of the system used for regular help tickets.

So thanks for the heads up on this- I put through a request and they gave me $40 back in store credits. I'm like a kid at Christmas now looking thought the catalogue at all the wonderful things I can buy. :)
