Question about Character/Figure presets from Daz Shop

Hi. I have bought LYFW Sherri HD for Victoria 6 , and planning to buy more models. However once I loaded the character, the head was bold and character was naked. Sorry if I ask is that's the way it is supposed to be? Because I was hoping the character/figure would be configured to an extent with the preset, such as complete with preset hair,clothes etc. as described in the picture. What presets do I get with purchased models/figures? Hoping for some clarification.Thank you

Yes, hair & clothing are separate. Unless a character says it explicitly comes with clothing, it doesn't come with clothing.

The images use hair & clothing to give you an idea of what they should look like (and also to avoid nudity all over the catalog), but the character presets don't come with hair, clothing, background, lighting, etc.

The documentation site can help identify exactly what comes with what product.

For example, if you go to the LYFW Sherri HD for Victoria 6 page... you can see a link to "File List" towards the bottom of the page.

(It's mostly morphs & textures for a character like Sherri HD)

Compare that to what you see in Pierette, which does state that she comes with wardrobe items...

Some of the filenames might be confusing as there's no standard way to do all the files, or so I gather. However, just ask & people can help you sort through it all.

Always read the what's included section on the product to know what you are getting. In general, characters rarely come with hair or clothing. Often, a specific character package comes with a skin and, in the case of females, usually makeup and sometimes nail colors. Packages that have many different morphs to change the faces and/or bodies often have no textures. Your first way to know, however, is the what's included section, so start there.
