Can't locate purchased models in daz3d
Hello everyone
I bought the Victoria 4.2 base today along with other downloads and can't locate them anywhere when i launch daz3d
i tried looking in the smart items folder and in the content library manually and with the search bar- is there something i'm missing here?
i used the download manager to download them and they all successfully downloaded and everything. where can i locate these files?? if i can't locate them i just really want a refund... the user interface is rather confusing
thanks :)

Victoria 4.2.cr2 will appear in Content Library > Poser Formats > [Content Library Name] > Figures > DAZ People
The default install location used by DIM is C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library
Is it just these items, or any item you installed with DIM? If you had DS4 installed a while ago, it may not have that location specified as a content location.
You can also find products purchased from Daz here
Hey thank you fixmypcmike and kaotkbliss for answering...! that was helpful but i still can't find the victoria files there either :/
i downloaded daz when i first joined a few months ago in december. i think it's sending the files to a path other than the default somewhere and will have to figure out where i still can't find them in the content library :/ i found the Raysee doll (reason i got victoria in the first place lol ) but it wont work without it :/ !
It sounds like DIM and DAZ Studio are not using the same location. Can you post these 2 screenshots:
1) In DS, Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats"
2) In DIM, on Ready to Install tab check the "Show Details" box in the lower right
ok..!
here's a screenshot attached
edit: i blurred the name of my laptop cause its nsfw xD; but it is the only user on my laptop/the main user directory name
Judging by the bottom left of the image you are using Smart Content or the Categories list in the Content Library pane. You need to use the Content Library pane (Window>Panes(Tabs)>Content Library if you don't have it open), then click on Poser Formats, then My DAZ 3D Library, then Figure, then DAZ Figures to find the icon for loading Victoria 4.
Sometimes, if things aren't working properly in the Smart Content window thing, reloading the Metadata helps me. The Metadata is what makes it "Smart".
In DAZ Install Manager, go to the Installed tab.
Right click on the offending product.
Select Re-Import Metadata.
