I tried searching, but don't know what search terms to use. What is a good way to show clothes laying on the floor, draped over a chair, etc.?

You could also learn to play with the Dform found in Window -> Pane (Tabs) -> DForm

It takes some practice using though.

Yes, the morphing fantasy dress is definitely something you want to have in your content folder. So many people have made add- ons for it and it's extremely versatile.

And then download the free morph expansion pack made by Blackfeather , which adds morphs that include laying them on the floor and hanging them

Go to wilmaps page, download the G2F skirt and jumper and Blackfeather made a really great morph for that as well...
