64 bit Installation issues

Hi,

So I have been trying all day to install but am having no luck.

I am running a 64 bit machine. I have been able to download and install the 64 bit version of Daz Studio 4.7, but am unable to find any content. So I downloaded Genesis Essentials (The first one).

Now in the "Tutorial/FAQ" it says to install Genesis using the instructions provided... but nowhere in the file are there any instructions. I am clueless...

So I tried to download the Install Manager to make things easier. However, I cannot for the life of me, find a 64 bit version of the manager anywhere. I tried downloading and running the 32 bit one, but nothing happens when I run it. The hard-drive spins for a moment and then... nothing...

I'm quite computer savvy, and have never had an issue installing any software in the past. This is the first time I've ever had an issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The DIM is 32 bit...and should run. Since it needs to go online, make sure that your security software is not blocking it.

Alright. I will double check firewalls and such. Thank you for the fast reply.

I have double checked everything. Nothing appears to be blocking the 32 bit DIM.

I have run as Admin. Restarted my machine. Checked my internet connection. Zero visible issues.

Still no luck. I really don't know what I'm not doing right here...

Have you added all the free stuff to your cart and "purchased" it? the dim will only install items you have purchased in the store.

Some people seem to have problems when they use the 'Get Install Manager Now' link. Try going to your Product Library and filtering on 'install'. Then click on the download link. When the download finishes, run the resulting executable and see if that works.
