dForce with Animal Fur Question

I'm new to using dForce and have a quick question regarding animal fur.

Is it not possible to have fur lay down underneath a clothing item? I have put pants on a Rawart's Bearclan figure, but the fur is clipping through the pants.  The fur's material zones do not match up with the pants so turning off via opacity settings doesn't work.  I did not know if there was anything else I could do by way of the dForce simulation that would work.

I just looked at the product page for Bear Clans and the promo pics show the figures wearing clothing.  What am I missing?
