Iray Draw style issue

Up until today I had been using 4.10, recently upgraded to 4.14. I switch from texture shaded (the default) to Iray to see the skin for a model renderd and it wont show it. It just shows the yellow bar for "Preparing scene" filling up repeatedly but nothing ever renders. I know my computer hardware is fine because I was rendering Iray in the draw style just fine before I updated so it isnt a software issue. Is there something I'm missing or a fix to as why the draw style wont load it.

Have you updated your GPU drivers?

4.14 requires rather new drivers.
