I cant find the files i purchased "Dynamic Medieval Bundle" Not a encouraging start. I did use the download manager if that makes a difference. :cheese:
To find your product the first thing to try is to click on the "i" with the circle around to the right of the product in DIM. This will bring up the online readme file. Unfortunately, this is an older product and only has a place holder readme online. For example:
This was talking about another product, but you can do this for most products that do not have updated readmes online. I don't have this product, so I don't know where it is installed.
If all else fails, look at the list of installed files that DIM shows you. Not all these files are user visible. Files in /data/..., /Runtime/Geometry/... or /Runtime/Textures/... are never user visible, but most others will be. You need to find them in the Content library.
Update: I wrote this assuming you bought Dynamic Medieval Bunndle. Mike is assuming you bought the Medieval Fantasy - Dynamic Clothes for Genesis and Genesis 2 which is a newer product that does have an online readme. If you bought the newer product you can just click the 'i' with a circle around it to the right of the product name in DIM and it will bring up the online readme that tells you where to find the product.
In the Content Library tab, look in
"DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Genesis > Dynamic Clothes > Medieval Bundle”
"DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Genesis 2 Female > Dynamic Clothes > Medieval Bundle”
"DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Genesis 2 Male > Dynamic Clothes > Medieval Bundle”
I bought the Medieval Fantasy - Dynamic Clothes for Genesis and Genesis 2 because I thought it was compatible. So how do I make the tunic fit to the Genesis 2 male? It does not get the sleeves right, gives a bulky look under the armpits and part of the triceps section is exposed. I'm attaching an image showing what I mean. Do I need to change a setting or something?
Dynamic clothes work in a completely different way. I've not learned how to use them but it goes something like
have your figure in T pose
Load, but don't "fit to" your dynamic outfit
Go to the animation tab and advance the animation a few frames
pose your figure the way you want
go to the dynamic cloth tab and under the clear button is a radio selection "single frame" or "animation" select animation
go to the "collide with" and only choose the items with which the dynamic cloth should collide
click drape
Thank you, thank you, thank you, kaotkbliss and Ostadan!! It worked!
I was not even aware of the Dynamic clothing tab (which now I know is under Windows > Panes (Tabs) > Dynamic Clothing. I tried it as single frame and worked as well (since the animation option would take longer to process). Also, I noticed that if I change the pose, I will first need to select "Clear" from the Dynamic Clothing tab and then drape it again or it will give an error message. Attached is the fixed result.

Dynamic Tabard with Coif
In this case, you can follow the direction starting here to find the readme that was probably part of the install package:
Finding products with placeholder readmes.

Also, I think, you have to go back to frame 0 before clicking 'drape'.
