Saving a low res version of a model?

Is there a way to do this? I'm creating a building from parts of different models. I'll use the full res for close up shots, but wonder if there is a way to create a low res version for use in wider shots when the building is inserted into the Urban Sprawl blocks of other buildings.

Daz Studio? Yes = Decimator http://www.daz3d.com/decimator-for-daz-studio but it does depends on how efficient the modelling is whether it works. Many vendors only use one polygon for one wall so decimating will not work for these types of efficient modelling. It works well on high res meshes like clothing and figures or home made high res meshes..

Hexagon and Blender both have Decimating functions.

Thanks, yes working in Daz. As this is a Daz forum I just assume everyone else is too. Sorry about that.

Well, considering that there is Daz Studio, Daz Hexagon, Daz Bryce and Daz Carrara it isn't as odd of a question to ask as one may think...and that's just for starters.
