Help installing 3rd party content?

Hi there! Many years ago I downloaded (a now older version of) Daz Studio. I had a TON of freebies from websites like ShareCG and Renderosity that worked just fine. However, like I said, that was at least four years ago. Last night I downloaded Daz 4.6 and reinstalled all my previous "official" content from the Daz store using the Daz Install Manager. Almost everything worked just fine! I went back and selected some of my favorite older downloads--and some new ones--An attempted to install them. I watched multiple videos on how to do it and followed them closely. (extracting the content and dragging it into the "my library" folder) Yet, none of it worked. I tried checking the "my Library" tab in Daz, but that didn't see my content. Any help is appreciated! Thank you. :)

If there is a folder inside the zip called Content then you want to put the stuff from that in your My Library folder. If not, you want the Runtime or Data folders, if present, to go in your My Library folder with their contents intact - if there are other fodlers, such as people or Props, alongside the Runtime or Data folders they go in My Library too.

I've done all that but none of the content will show up? Am I not looking in the correct place? Thank you!

You still install FreeBe's just as before. the RUNTIME folder gets MERGED with the RUNTIME folder in the My Library folder or the My DAZ 3D Library folder. The content will still only show in the Content Library Tab in the Poser Formats section. Third party content will never show as Smart content.

Perhaps if you walk us through what you did with one or two examples we may be able to spot the issue.
