V4 clothes changes size

Often (but not always) when I reload a scene with a V5 character with v4 clothes, the outfit suddenly is to large. This is not a major problem since it is easily solved by loading the clothes again, but if there is an easy way to get around this, please let me know.

Did you save the clothes as converted figures? If you just use Autofit to convert from V4 to Genesis, that doesn't actually let you save the clothes as part of your scene — you need to save the new clothes separately. This lets you re-use them in other scenes without going through the conversion process all over again.

"Did you save the clothes as converted figures?"
I assume you don't mean "Save as Wearables preset", cause that doesn't work. Some of the parts are suddenly to large when I reload them.
If you mean something else, please tell me cause I don't know any other way than this to save clothes (appart from "Save scene", but that's what was my problem in the first place).

OK, I just tried this with the old freebie AerySoul Aermy bodice, just to remind myself how it works. Yes, Wearable Preset is the way to do it (Scene Subset — not Scene on its own — will also work but Autofit-on-load sometimes glitches). It works backwards from the obvious way, though, you must select the Genesis figure, not the clothes. In the save options, select which clothes you want to save, if the figure's wearing more than one, hit accept and that should do it.

One more thing, are you saving into an existing D|S content location? Some people don't, and it causes problems if you need to restore a content folder from backup to a new system or move it to another location; I suspect it might also cause Weird Stuff™ with saving clothes conversions.

Edit: just had a second thought, are you converting the clothes onto an unmorphed Genesis? That's the best way, if there are existing non-zero morphs it can mess things up fitting the clothes to other Genesis shapes.
