Genesis 2 Female Starter Suits

I'm extremely new to DAZ. I'm using the program to help a friend of mine create some exercise/stretching images. I started in Poser, but I really like the posing functionality in DAZ much better.
I'm just using the basic Genesis 2 Female figure and wanted to use the starter suits for the poses since they look like workout clothes. Everything else I've found is too "sexy" for this particular project. However, there isn't a "Fit to…" option under General -> Misc when I apply the suits.
They fit initially when I apply the clothes, but they don't move when posed because I can't conform them to the figure as-is. Is there something I can do to get these to work as-is?
Thanks!
Jeff

There are several ways:
(1) Have genesis Selected when you add the item
(2) Rightclick the item and select fit to... from the menu
(3) Selected the item in the scene tab then in the parameters tab under general select Fit to...
And welcome to DAZ Studio .
Thanks for the reply, but none of those options are available. There isn't a "Fit to…" option available, which is why I posted here. I'm wondering if I need to export and then import? It says that it's designed for one of the Genesis females (Gia, Victoria, etc.), so maybe it doesn't work natively with the base figure without going through a few extra steps…? Just guessing here.
I think I got it. I experimented with the Transfer Utility and that seemed to work. Thanks again!
What figure was that item for? Not genesis then...
Save yourself a lot of time and effort and download my FREE Exercise suit for Genesis 2 Female.

Looking at those suits, they are just basic mesh which you take into a modelling program and shape to your likes. Then you have to rig them to G2F. Unless you know what you are doing, you will have problems.
It was for the basic Genesis 2 Female. Using the Transfer Utility worked fine. Just did a couple of sample poses and it seems to work for what I'm doing.
Thanks for the link to the exercise suit. I was looking through the Daz content and all I saw were sports bras and booty shorts. Those never came up. If what I'm doing doesn't work for the client, I'll definitely take a closer look at the link.
Hello Jtlyonsden,
I'm the creator of the starter suits, and in order to help most people using them, you will find a video I made on youtube.
http://youtu.be/0RJ2kuM_cSs
Concerning your exact problem, you have an example which begins at 25 minutes and 27 seconds of this video on how to conform an outfit which comes as a prop on your character (more precisely in the video showing how to convert and imported obj in a conforming duf, and this is the same for all the stater suits), .
Just one more thing :
if you are using a morphed character with a morphed cloths, chose "current" shape for both of them and "reverse" in the bottom options. For Genesis 2 base female with suit adapted for her, use "default" as shape options, and do not use "reverse" in the bottom options.
I'm happy to see that people have already answered your question here, thanks to them. It seems in your answers that they helped you solve your problem this way.
If you have any other questions or concerns, I have opened a topic here on DAZ forums concerning these starter suits, feel free to ask me whatever you want. Here is the starter suits topic : http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/34119/
Just let me know :)
Ooops of course, I forgot to write the main thing I wanted to add that you may need :
In any case or for extreme poses if you have problems (I think you should not), you can use the smoothing modifier for the outfit once posed or morph to adapt perfectly to your character (after you have used the transfer utility to conform) :
1. Select your outfit,
2. Make sure you are in the "scene" tab
3. at the top of it, go in the "little lines with the arrow", click edit, then geometry, thenapply smoothing modifier.
4. you can increase the number of smoothing iteration which is by default at 2.
If you want to see "live" how to do it (on another outfit), you can have a look at the 13 minutes and 10 seconds of the following video :

Of course you're not forced to use the smoothing modifier, it is just that sometimes it helps.
