Hello, I am an Architect getting started with DAZ and I would like to see the possibility of importing into DAZ some of the 3D Models I create.
I also need to bring some characters into DAZ, but I need someone to tell em all I need to do.
I will compensate you hourly for your work. Maybe I can just let you do the work once I tell you what I need done. This is open for discussion.

The main question here is if you want the models to be rigged (door open/close) things can bend or if you just want the models straight in as meshes. The second question is how are the materials setup (textures), are they shaded using built in shaders in the Architectural program you use now, or are they shaded / textured using colors and/or images.

And when you say characters, do you mean the DAZ characters or characters from another source? Those might need to be rigged to, and then we're talking not tens but hundreds of hours of work.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.
The Models do not need to be rigged.
The characters I was referring to are People from DAZ.
I need to create a very specific look for one of the DAZ characters, wearing a sort of superhero suit that needs to be customized in a 3D environment that I model in another software and bring into DAZ for final rendering.

Trish, thank you for your help.
This has taught me how to import Models now :).
    Very much appreciated.

You can do the other way around if you have a render software of choice. Setup the figure i DAZ Studio then export it as fbx or collada and import that into your environment and render there.
