How do I make solid color dumbies?

How do I make solid colored figures like the blue and pink figures people use in their pose previews. Is that a feature or is there a guide?

You need to set up the material you want -for example, Create>New Prmitive and make a sphere, then experiment in the Surfaces pane's Editor tab - click the item name on the left and adjust the Diffuse colour and the specular settings in particular. Once you have something you like go, with the sphere selected and its name selected in the Surfaces pane (this will select its one and only surface group), to File>Save As>Shader Preset. Now load the figure you want and click its name in the left-hnad column of the Surfaces pane (which will select its many surfaces), then double-click the shader preset you just saved to apply the settings to the whole figure.
Thank you! I'll give it a shot.
