I can't find the LAMH 2 Iray Catalyzer in the list of available panes.

So I just bought the Catalyzer, since it's on sale, and it sounds like a much easier and less fiddly way of rendering furry animals. But... I can't find it. In Alessandro AM's video, on the product page, he selects it as a pane on the "Windows" list, and it's found between "Install" and "Lights." It's just not there in my Studio.

Do I have to uninstall LAHM first, before it will show up? Or could it be that it didn't get installed correctly, since I forgot I had DS already open, when I let the IM handle it? I downloaded and installed it manually after closing DS, but it still doesn't show up. I'm dumb tonight. Where do I find it? How do I find it? Advice much appreciated!

    Have you activated Catalyzer (entered your Catalyzer serial number)?

    You should not need to uninstall LAMH - they can coexist.

    Where do I enter the serial number? I wasn't asked for one during the installation process.

    It should be in the Serial Numbers page under your Account https://www.daz3d.com/customer/account , and should also be available by right-click on the plug-in's entry in Install Manager.

    No - from memory (my DS PC is not switched on at the moment) you need to go to Help - About Plugins and locate the Catalyzer line then click on the serial number space and enter the one you received in your Account here.

    Okay, you see... I have the serial number itself. But I have no idea where to enter it to activate the program. There hasn't been any pop-ups asking for it, anywhere.

    @MelanieL I looked all around the Help Center, and I couldn't find it. Sorry. I've got some sort of hard-to-diagnose learning disability, and sometimes I just can't figure stuff out.

    @TigerAnne,

    1. Inside Daz Studio you want to go to Help --> About Installed Plug-ins...

    2. Next scroll down until you find the Catalyzer. There should be a place there to add the serial in order to register it. In the screenshot it doesn't show because I already have it registered.

    3. Once you've registered your product, you want to go to Window --> Panes (tabs) --> Catalyzer in order to access it.

    You're very welcome! I remember I was very confused at first regarding that. Just remember that once you have your scene ready, you need to render it via the button on the cataylzer window. Otherwise you won't see the fur! Happy rendering!

    Thanks for posting so clearly, Gigi_FenixPhoenix - I had to leave the forum before I got the chance to see TigerAnne's reply to my post (it was after midnight here and I had my bed to go to!) so I'm pleased someone was able to clarify.
