Creating Custom Contnet - Importing and Fitting?

I'm trying to create custom hair and clothing for Genesis in DAZ 4.6. I have worked with other 3D programs, namely Maya, for years, so I know how create meshes, UVs, etc. with no problem.
What I don't know, is how do I get that content to interact properly with the Genesis models? How do I get the hair and clothing to fit? I looked for a tutorial but could not find one.
Thanks for the help!

There's also a big thread on this here:

These are aimed at clothing rather than hair. Hair is rigged similarly to clothing, but morphs are even more important.
I'm having trouble finding a video tutorial on morphing, but it's quite easy. Basically to create a morph you export your item as an obj at its base resolution from DS, edit without changing vertex order (meaning without adding or removing polygons) in your modeler, and then export as an obj again, and load that obj as a morph. You import/load a morph into an item using Morph Loader Pro.
Thanks! This has really helped. So for morphs, I basically work on the same principles as blend shapes?
BTW - looked at your deviant-art gallery and your work is gorgeous.

Well, I use Blender rather than Max/Maya, but probably. Blender has a shape-blending system that's similar to DAZ's in some ways, so I can't imagine those don't.
And thank you. :-) Are you on dA? We've got a good circle of artists and vendors linked up on there, and I'd love to watch your profile.
