I was just getting ready to ask about moving folders around. Or if content library can sort by name. When content starts to build up in library, can be overwhelming sometimes searching for items. What helps me is, I notepad each character/item I obtain, location, then print, put in binder alphabetically.
Yes, but not in the context I can understand, such as Erato hair can be in several different locations. Would be great if all Erato hair content was in Hair folder.
Thanx Mike. How does one use catergories ? If I was confident everything would work, I would rearrange all content.
Categories does not move anything, it's a folder just like DAZ Formats or Poser Formats but everything is where you put it. I also use it. I have V5 in a folder, in it is a V5 clothing folder, and each clothing has the textures for it in a folder. It's 100% the way YOU make it.
Yes, the good thing about categories is that you can rearrange the content any way you like without fear of breaking anything by moving a file to the wrong place.

We really do need a good basic DS4+ category tutorial. I've used Categories from the day DAZ Studio added the feature. Not many will get it without some help.
Adamr001 has some good tutorials here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/306/
There are two videos for categories in DS4, and a written tutorial for DS3, which is mostly still applicable.

Is yours not sorted alphabetically?

Oh, okay, that's different. That's why I use Categories, so I don't have to put up with the Poser library structure.
