Opinion on Motion Capture in Daz3D requested

edited July 2013 in The Commons

Hey everyone,

I have been wondering something for a while now and I'm curious as to what peoples opinions are. I own my own private motion capture studio and I was thinking about starting up a motion capture pack series much like the animate++ series in the store. My question is, is there even a need anymore for motion capture in daz studio anymore with the advent of low cost moves from say true bones and Maximo? I mean it looks like you can get over 10k moves for $200, so is that the route people are going these days instead of buying moves made for animate++ and others like posermocap in the store?

Hell I think there even is another called eclipse studios; so I guess does daz need another mocap outlet or does the community feel its a saturated market? Your opinions and comments are most welcome!

I don't think the market is saturated. True Bones packs are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive and you have to be a member at Maximo to buy. A good motions pack priced at $20 is reasonable. I buy every one of them because I can pick them apart and use partial motions. I bought IPI Studio a while back and I still will buy motion packs. Bring them on BeowulfKaine!
