What do overweight male DAZ characters do in the summer?

I was looking for a Hawaiian shirt, any character from gen 3 through Genesis. Santa needs to wear some summer clothing for an idea I had. I was willing to pay any reasonable price, which is a rarity for me. I don't buy anything that is not on sale normally, and my idea of sale is pretty strict. (I've had to swear off my favorite meat, beef, because I won't pay the current prices.) Anyways, not only is there no Hawaiian shirts for anybody, the stuff that is offered would look grotesque on any overweight male. Can you see Santa in a sleeveless T? Cargo shorts? Really.
Is everybody really rendering young, fit, males? Are we so PC that Santa has to go on a diet?

Even fit DAZ males don't have much choice for summer wear. Everything seems to be long sleeved and layered. Don't any of you PAs live south of Alaska. Or is this what the hip young people wear today summer or winter?

The shirt from Hitman - http://www.daz3d.com/hitman (also part of one of the Freak 5 bundles) - could work. The undershirt is a tank top style and the over shirt is fairly Hawaiian and could be made more so with a decent texture.

Also there is a short sleeve shirt option in Town and Country for Genesis (http://www.daz3d.com/town-and-country-for-genesis) but you'd need a different texture map to get the Hawaiian style.

Here's a badly done fat man with the Town & Country shirt with a flower texture from Fabricator.

bad guy for M4 ( http://www.daz3d.com/bad-guy-for-m4 ) or genesis ( http://www.daz3d.com/bad-guy-for-genesis ) from Smay has a shirt that might work. I knwo there is also some hawaiian patterned textures for it as freebies over at Share, but I don't remember who made those *sorry*

The previously mentioned Hawaiian textures for Bad Guy are by Katastrophe at sharecg.com. The diffuse textures have to be applied manually for the Genesis shirt; although the material zones have apparently the same definitions, the names have changed, so the DUF doesn't quite work.

I'm not sure how many shirts are really designed to cope with rounder frames. Most guys with a belly of any size would wear those shirts out and loose, and Genesis shirts have an unfortunate tendency to be built to be form fitting. Bad Guy actually does pretty well, except that it can only be half-untucked. (see below, pink flowered shirt).

Halcyone's Casual Wear M4 shirt from Renderosity converts well to Genesis, and also has morphs to deal with the thickness of the torso and belly. It doesn't hang the way a shirt like that normally would, but it's otherwise reasonably presentable. (blue shirt below) There are a couple of different texture sets for it as well, but none of them seem to be flowered or Hawaiian-style, so you'd need to use something like Fabricator to get the right look.

EDIT: As mentioned above, Town and Country's short-sleeved shirt, along with some floral Fabricator shaders, might do very well (black and red floral below). It has morphs for how the shirt hangs, as well as adjusting the waist and hips so that it gets rid of that too-tight cling. You might want to play with the tiling of the shader, since shirts like that frequenly have very large patterns, rather than smaller, finer ones -- depends on the effect you want, I guess.

Also, Sickleyield's Japanese School Uniform shirt has morphs for the belly and waist, as well as an untucked version. It's only meant to be white, so again, you'd need to use a shader for it. (The ... vividly patterned shirt below.)

The Hitman shirt both doesn't close -- it's designed to be worn with the front open -- AND is form-fitting. Which is a weird combination, when you think about it.

Thanks to all. Getting close. If I have to (which I probably do) I could make one of these ideas work, depending on how much and what part of Santa I show. He'll be sitting in a convertible, so I can play with angles etc.

The shirt looks familiar to me from another promo, although with a solid color texture.

Check Wilmap's gallery on ShareCG. She's got an open shirt for Genesis which would probably work. Particularly with a shader. There ought to be something out there along the lines of a Hawaiian print.

Not the promo I was thinking of, but that shirt might be workable. Daz says I already purchased it.
