OT: Affordable Cintiq Alternative?

    For me I still prefer my monitor to be separate from the tablet for ergonomic reasons, but I still occasionally wish for a cintiq.

    Thanks Joe. This is very interesting. I have also tried to you Splashtop on my Ipad as an extended desktop. But it lags a little. But there is no cursor offset on the ipad. Drawing on it with even a cheap stylus or your finger is intutitive. I would like to combine that with Adobe illustrator's features. This tablet sounds good. I love having a second display too.

    I'm happy with my cintiq. It did cost a lot even though it was the previous generation. works quite well though. Haven't heard of any alternatives.
