Install Manager content organisation impact?

Hi

This may have been answered already but a search of the forums showed nothing so here goes.

I'm giving DazStudio 4.9 a go and I've been using the install manager for the content instalation, I have found most but not all items are logicly organised.

Some vendors are just putting stuff in their own folders rather than using the existing file structure which is confusing when trying to find stuff.

Q: If I move installed content will this impact the uninstall option of the Install Manager?

    Also would this be the same for Poser Runtime content?

    If you change  each installed flle "relative path" from Root directory,   DIM can not find them. You had better not move your contents to make  custom file structure about  files which daz offered. (it is almost same about other product offered by each shop vendor)

    but you can customize  or add "category" for each contents,  and keep it as user_data. then use "Category" to find contents .Category is recorded only in CMS data base, and meta-data file.   not chagne actuall path of each files.

    It is same about poser contents which you install  By DIM (install manager) .
