Strange effects with female Anatomical Elements bugged after using geoshell

Hi!
I was creating a piece of cloth using this tutorial here: when I suddenly the female anatomical element didn't show correctly - it showed both versions the Genesis 3 sex-less figure and the genitalia overlay at the same time. In my opinion it was just a side effect because of using a geoshell for my figure and discarded the genitalia overlay.
When I lately worked on a different figure I noticed that the same effect happened to it, but I never used any geoshell on this other one, in fact I didn't use any geoshells in the whole scene, but the bug appeared in the same way as on the model before. Then I've discarded everything also restarted Daz Studio and even my Computer and created a completely new model from scratch but no matter what, when I apply the genitalia it does no longer replace the sex-less part but just adds it to it.
I have no idea how or why. I haven't added any new products or changed any settings, all I did was using a geoshell on one of my models. Any help or ideas would be welcome, because I have no idea what could have been changed on Daz Studio that is now the cause for this bug.

Which version of Daz Studio (Help>About Daz Studio)? Is the GeoGraft fitted to the wearer, and is it for the right figure?
I am using the latest version of Daz Studio 4.9 something.
I am using Victoria 7 and the genitalia I got together with her in the Pro Pack. I have also bought 3feetwolf's New Gens now but getting the same effect.
No geometry shell is used anymore, but since I used it this one time I have this bug now that isn't going away anymore.
If you go to Help>About Daz Studio that will give the exact version number.
v4.9.3.166
OK, and you are sure the anatomical elements are fitted to the figure - they move with her when she is posed?
Yes, I am. But in the meantime I was able to get back to normal.
I have no idea what this has to do with this problem, but selecting and deselecting the tool settings pane and the draw settings pane and activating the node selection tool fixed the problem. Now everything works again. Sometimes I wish things in Daz Studio would be more transparent. Thanks for looking into this though.
Ah, some tools will show the hidden geoemtry - did you perhaps have the Geometry Editor tool active?
Very likely. I was using that weight layering painting thing to change the strenght of the push modifier and the effect is repeatable. Now I wonder how geometry is hidden, but I will ask that at some other time. Thanks for the info about the hidden geometry!
