Grainy images

Whenever I've asked for advise how to make my renders less grainy, I was told to add more light to the scene. However, here is an example with with very little light but the image isn't grainy ...

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

For starters, that's not a Studio Render.
You can also render longer (more samples).
What do you mean? It is being advetized here on DAZ as a product for DAZ.
I believe all the promo shots with the exception of one were Studio renders. The one was Poser, they are all labelled. The one you linked to was the Poser Render.
In general though, yes, you need to render longer for lower light pictures that's what resolves the grainyness
Got it. Longer renders for low light conditions. Thanks.
No, don't do longer renders. They shouldn't take any longer if you do it right.
First make sure the scene is well lit and bright with no grain. Then set the exposure value higher which will make the scene darker while retaining the same low level of grain. It's just one of many ways. You can also adjust exposure in photoshop or other image software after the render is done if you'd prefer that.
