!irayuber shader not here in DAZ 4.9

Hey, everyone. I need to use the !irayuber shader for some fun stuff but it's not here. I have 4.9 pro and it should be installed by default in Surfaces, editor, shaders. It's not in the shader presets either. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you install "Default Resources for Daz Studio 4.9"?
Do you see "!Iray Uber Base" in Content Library > Daz Studio Formats > [your content library] > Shader Presets > Iray > DAZ Uber?
You can find this in (smart content) Shaders -> Iray -> Uber or (content library) Shader Presets -> Iray -> DAZ Uber if you have the "Default Resources" installed.
Hey, Fixmypcmike.
It was there. And, when I went back to my surfaces tab it was there as well. I've been reinstalling stuff so maybe it came in with it? Who knows. It's there and I'm happy. Thanks for the help.
So I've used the Iray Uber Shader off and on, although more recently I acquired a bunch of Iray texture sets so I have been using those.
I've never understood exactly what the Iray Uber Shader does. I'm guessing it enables some things for Iray, and it probably adds a few slider options and such, but I don't really know exactly what it does.
Does anyone have a real good explanation r.e. the Iray Uber Shader, what it does, and what it brings to the table? I'm curious, and it's good to have a good working knowledge of these things.
It's the base Iray Shader. It has all of the characteristics of an Iray Shader and includes several variations. It comes with Studio and was available before most PAs could produce shader sets.
