Apply the uber base shader and set metallicity to 1.

Yeah, I tried that, Etheral. It didn't get the reflection I wanted. Any suggestions?

I see you are using a Plane. Try going to the surface tab, click on the mirror glass to select its surface and add the iray chrome shader.

What is that under? I can't find it.

What is what under? The Surface Tab is just that, it is where you choose the surfaces. Top menu Windows/Tabs/Surface Tab if it isn't already open. The Chrome Shader is in beside all the other Iray default shaders that comes with Studio 4.9 under Iray Shaders.

Oh right LOL!! Yeah I tried a chrome shader but no it didn't work. I don't think I have the 'Iray' chrome shader though

If you have Studio 4.9 with Iray then you should have the shaders, unless you are using the 32 bit version of Studio which doesn't have Iray. There are metal, glass and water shaders along with the Uber Shader to convert non Iray surfaces to Iray.

I have the 64 bit version and tried the chrome shader with the uber base shader but no luck.

I'm in the middle of a long render but I'll fire up the Beta version and have a look. Be back soon :)

How is it you can use something at will but when you NEED to use it it wont start. The Beta is refusing to load so it will be around an hour, perhaps a bit more, before I can get back to you on this :)

it isn't a plug in but a shader, surface settings for a mirror surface.
