How to back up "My Daz3D library"?

So it happened once, I played in the said folder [My Daz3D library] and deleted a substantial chunk of it. A total nightmare ensued. I had to reformat my computer to get back Daz studio on point.
How can I back up all my content easily so if something happen I can recover it? Can I simply copy the whole folder on an external hard drive every couple months or so?

You can back it up by making a copy, and the cms database (by default in C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Daz 3d\cms for Windows, I think it's /Application Support/Daz 3d/cms for the Mac). If you had to restore from the back up you would need to add any non-default content directories to the list via Content Directory Manager but other than that it should be straightforward.
Ok Thanks.
I'll make a copy of "my DAZ3d library" and "cms".
I'll chime in to pimp a third-party service. I lost a ton of work on an external USB drive a few years ago, and began an immediate hunt for something that would keep that from ever happening again. I landed on BackBlaze. Best $5/month ever. It has saved me from similar tragedies twice since I subscribed.
