Content Manager Icons Link Wrong Path To Assets.

Sometimes when I install a 3rd party asset and I try to load it by clicking on the icon for it in my content manager, I get an error dialog box notifying me that DS cannot find the asset at the given directory path. I can then direct DS to the asset. But this only works once. DS does not remember the path I tell it. And the next time I try to load that same asset, it does the error and I have to help it again.
Is there a way to perpenantly tell DS where the asset file is? Like, can I edit the path setting behind these asset icons?

You could save a new preset, scene subset, or scene - assuming you mean a missing texture or the like. Also, please open a Technical Support ticket to report this so the product can be updated.
I figured it out.
The way to permenantly tell DAZ Studio where the assets are is to discover the true directory paths to the assets, and then right click on the model's icon in the content manager to see a pop-up menu, where I pick the option to "open file location" (or whatever the wording really is), and open that file in notepad, and then search and replace all the bad path specifications with the good path specifications. Then save and close the file.
