How can I use content downloaded from Renderosity, in 4.9?

I've looked at many of the existing threads and tutorials, and none of them help.
Let's say I downloaded an item - a pair of glasses. In the unzipped folder for the item, I see folders for: Daz Studio Content, Readme, and Runtime.
I create a new folder and put all the files in here.
Now I navigate over to My Documents/Daz 3D/Studio
I see My Connect Library, My Library and Render Library.
In My Library, I see nothing except Presets (because I made one earlier) with some stuff in it, and Scenes (which is empty).
... How can I load my glasses into a scene I want to make?
I already went into Content Manager and told it to look in my created folder, called Downloads. I added this folder under "Daz Studio Formats", with Content Library --> Content Directory Manager.
If I attempt to use Content Library and load the item, an error message pops up ("one or more files cannot be found" etc).
Could somebody help?

It may be that the item is not correctly packaged - it's hard to tell. The Runtime folder from the zip would certaibly go in the Downloads folder (not a sub-folder), and it may be that the main model is in Poser format (in which case it would be in Poser Formats>Downloads>Figures or props>Some folder), with the daz Studio Content folder from the zip just holding mateials preset (which can go anywhere in the content directory except for the Runtime, Readme's, and Data folders).
In general Renderosity things that are proper;y packaged for Studio will have everything inside a Content folder (or My Library). You want to install everything under the Content folder by selecting the folders individually, leaving out Content/My Library.
If it's poser stuff, that's a separate install altogether.
OK so if I understand the both of you correctly - there should be no subfolders, inside My Library? Whatever folders there are for the products should just go in My Library as they are?
Take a look at my little tool RendoInstall found here ;-) For Mac OS X users only.
I use PC...
Found this if you're interested. I was having the same issues. :-)

That's not what I meant. Here's a picture of the folder structure for my content library. I've also included a screenshot of a properly packaged Renderosity product zip (Zip1) and a screenshot of an older, not properly packaged zip (Zip2). For Zip 2 you would exract everything UNDER "My Library" yo your root Library folder. In my case that is "My DAZ 3D Library". For the properly packaged zips, just extract everything to your root content folder.
Does this help?
