Daz Studio and Content on 2 computers

If it is allowed, I would like to work on my Daz project on my laptop while away from.home.  Can I just copy the directories to my laptop.?

My saved content would have to be on a different disk as I only have dskc on my laptop. Can the directory be re asssigned? or use an external drive with same letter designation as the desktop?

This is generally allowed. As long as the content used is in mapped content directories on both machines, with the same relative path within the content directory, the scenes will work - that's why add-on content can work on any system, regardless of where the content directories are.
