Bake Environment IRay shaders?

Is is possible to bake IRay shaders?  The Shader Baker documentation in Daz specifically mentions 3Delight shaders only.

Would it be possible to bake a 3Delight shader, apply the IRay Uber base, and then use it in an IRay render?

I've got some highly detailed IRay environments that take hours to render.  Even on my system with dual GTX 980Ti's.  I assume that's because the creators didn't do a good job optimizing their IRay shaders, because my system can do a high resolution close up render of an HD G3 character in under ten minutes.  Doesn't make any sense to me that the environment should be taking an hour or more.  Wondering about ways to get around this issue.
