Viewport and Render showing different results

Hi,

I've been having this issue in a long time and I was wondering if there is a way around it.

Some cloth items will look different on the viewport compared to the final render.

Here's an example with some stockings, but I'm getting similar results with other outfits as well.
It looks to be a perfect fit on the viewport (both in Texture Shaded and NVIDIA Iray mode), but once I try to render it, it's rather different case.

At first I thought it may be some displacement that creates this problem, but neither the clothing item nor the figure have any displacement.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks.

Is there displacement on any of the skin or hosiery surfaces?

Nope. A simple bump is all there is, no displacement.

Check parameters pane "general>mesh resolution> SubDivision Level" it is the preview quality. There is a "Render SubD Level" thats maybe higher and so the leg geometry pops thru. I would check if subd levels are all the same on stockings and figure. If this dosnt help try the smoothing modifier on the stockings colliding with the figure.

That was the problem. The figure had SubDivision Level at 1 and Render SubD Level (Minimum) at 3.

    Thank you. Much appreciated.
