Genesis Items disappearing

I'm noticing some items for Genesis 1 are not loading in Daz 4.9. So far, the tail for RawArt's Drakon http://www.daz3d.com/drakon and the claws from http://www.daz3d.com/monster-details-for-genesis do not even show up, unless I use 4.6 (which crashes whenever I attempt even a simple render). Now, I have found a workaround for the claws by loading them in Daz 4.6, saving, then loading the scene in 4.9 to do the render. The tail, however, only shows up as a bunch of blocks in the preview, but it does not show up in the finished render.

Do you mean "not show up" in the Content Library tab, or in the scene after you load them?

How did you install these items, using the DIM installer, or manually? The "showing as blocks" problem suggests they've been installed to a location that DAZ|Studio isn't looking for content. This happens occasionally with DIM if it isn't set up properly, but it's more common in manual installation.

Drakon was updated on Feb 9 to fix the tail in 4.9.3
